色控传媒 is supporting the delivery of the Green Wind Renewables Wind Farm program, a multi-site onshore wind initiative. Once operational, it will generate up to two gigawatts of renewable energy across Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region, enough to power approximately 1.7 million homes.
In 2025, reached a significant milestone with the聽completion of all preliminary technical studies聽for the first of the proposed wind farms,聽including heritage surveys聽and聽the聽commencement of pre-lodgement for planning approvals.
We鈥檙e聽currently聽supporting聽approvals for:
A coordinated approach to complex wind farm environmental approvals
Since our appointment in 2024, we鈥檝e led a coordinated program of work to help guide the wind farm projects through complex planning and regulatory processes. In collaboration with Urbis and other delivery partners, our team is providing:
- Technical studies to support constraints analysis and impact assessment
- Technical advisory support during early-stage design development
- Environmental and planning approvals
- Regulatory coordination with local and state authorities
Facilitating a social and environmental licence to operate
By addressing environmental,聽cultural聽and social considerations early and thoroughly,聽together聽with early engineering design and fatal flaws assessment,聽we鈥檙e聽helping聽create a clear and credible pathway to approval聽for each Green Wind Renewables wind farm.聽聽
Integration of our environment advisors and engineers is achieving positive outcomes for the wind farm developments, enabling the mitigation and minimisation of impacts on environmental and heritage values.
